**Spaces will be thoughtfully designed according to the building code and City of Calgary secondary suite requirements**

our process

step 1: meet/discuss

Susan will meet with you on site to discuss what services you are wanting, your design wish list, timeline and budget. Before-photos and existing professional measurements will be taken.

step 2: stage/design/source

STAGE: Utilizing your existing furniture, art & accessories, Susan will rearrange and advise on what items should be revised, removed or fixed before your home is listed. She may shop for or recommend the purchase of a few decor, art or furniture pieces to elevate the space.

DESIGN: Design solutions are created and developed via sketches and then onto scaled CAD drawings - floor plans, elevations and 3D models/walk throughs.

SOURCE: Materials are selected, colour schemes are developed, and furniture/art is sourced.

step 3: present/revise

Designs are presented to the homeowner via presentations plans, construction drawings and sample boards. Susan will make any requested revisions and drawings will be completed to building code and ready for permit and construction.

step 4: provide resources

Upon request, Susan can provide you with a list of recommended trade vendors including: material suppliers, contractors, specialized trades, lighting & bath stores, furniture stores and window covering specialists.

FEE structure

Susan’s hourly Interior Design & Staging fee is $250 + GST
